It's out! Ask your local comic store about it or order it Amazon. Or ask your local bodega owner. Or steal it. I don't care which, just read it. It has my first published writing as an epilogue and it has all the issues and some skecthes. Why are you still reading this? Is it not enough? I promise to do a quick sketch in any trade that people bring to me to sign. More?

C2E2

This weekend I'll be at C2E2 in Chicago. I'll be sharing a table with Jason Latour so look out for the smell of moonshine and the sound of banjo music (or table G11). I'll have some prints (above) and possibly some Graveyard of Empire trades. some original art and I'll be taking commission sketches from those whoa re kind enough to ask nicely. Graveyard of Empires Extra

   Been working on a short I'm putting together for the Graveyard of Empires TPB. I'm writing, drawing and possibly coloring it all myself. It's something I plan to do alot more of this year and in the future. You can't beat creating something from scratch. It feels the most like art to me, if that makes any sense. Like when I used to just draw or paint when I was little.

   The two main reasons I'm having fun with this little story is I'm getting to show a bit more of the Afghan culture and SFX. We didn't get to show much of the other side in the main story. Unfortunately, space is always an issue when you're trying to fashion a story and you have to cut out what doesn't move the story along. As for SFX, let's face it, they're just fun to do.
I'll post some inks soon and maybe even a "making of".

Train Game

It's been a while but I blame Hurricane Sandy. Why not? I've moved and been busy with holidays and work. It's been a mess and I can't even remember November. I just finished a short comic for a game that should be out next year called Metro: Last Night. It's a downloadable comic that bridges the stories of the two games. My little brother seems super excited about it so I guess the games are pretty good. I can't play video games or I'd never get anything done. Anyway, I'll be posting mor regularly in the new year once the madness has passed. In the meantime here's a panel mash-up of the Metro short.

NYCC 2012

New York is having another Comic Con at the Javits Center! I'll be at the show this weekend with Mark Sable selling things and sketching around. We'll be at table N5 in ARTIST ALLEY. We'll have all of GRAVEYARD OF EMPIRES for sale.
